Our work is all about people, and we believe that our people create the company.
RedZebra are a team of dedicated and experienced, professionals and facilitators who design and deliver highly engaging experiences.
We are based in Brighton UK, but we also have offices in South Africa and the USA, so as you can imagine, there’s quite a few of us!
We value trusting relationships, both with the people we work with, as well as within our own team.
Meet the friendly faces that work as our in-office team in the UK
Oliver Macdonald
Co-Founder and Managing Director
RedZebra was founded by Oliver Macdonald & Mark Dodsworth, all the way back in 1994.
Since then Oliver has worked with more than 1 million people across 6 continents: from street children to royalty, grass roots charities to the world’s biggest brands.
He has designed and delivered work for clients ranging from large international companies spanning sectors of industry such as pharmaceuticals, liquor, medical, social care, finance and retail, to educational or government bodies and charities.
He has been instrumental in the rollout of major leadership and development programmes on an international level.
Oliver’s passion for creativity is also expressed through his love of music and as a talented percussionist. He has an unlimited energy and commitment for unlocking potential, creating impact and a lasting legacy for change.
Oliver’s favourite quote is: “ When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.” (Wayne Dyer)
Trish Varndall
Project Manager
Trish joined RedZebra in June 2012 after 10 years spent in various project management roles within the media, arts and not-for-profit sector.
A born organiser (“productively bossy” some might say), Trish has the ability to turn exciting and creative ideas into real life projects through her methodical approach and attention to detail. She is a driving force in the operational side of RedZebra and is instrumental in all aspects of the business. She is the main point of contact for our clients.
With a personal interest in self-development she is passionate about supporting people to be the very best they can. A lover of dance and music, she looks after RedZebra’s integrated carnival arts project, Unified Rhythm, a project very close to her heart.
When she’s not working you will most likely find Trish banging her beloved Djembe drum or out shaking her tail feather at a gig.
Trish’s favourite quote is “If you don’t like something, change it. If you can’t change it, change your attitude.” (Maya Angelou)
Lucy Stewart
Administrator and Project Support
Lucy is the newest member of the team. She provides key administration and support across all projects.
With her background in marketing, she also looks after the social media profiles, RedZebra Blog, E-newsletter and other marketing and funding opportunities.
As Lucy has found out quickly since joining the team, no day is ever the same in the RedZebra office. Days can be spent doing anything from organizing travel arrangements to learning how to play the drums(!)
Her love of expression through music and dance attracted her to join the creative team at RedZebra. In her spare time she enjoys Hula Hooping as a performer and children’s entertainer.
Lucy’s favourite quote is “Happiness is a journey, not a destination.”
